The Invermere Companion Animal Network (ICAN)’s comedy gala Raise the Woof at the Invermere Community Hall on Friday, November 23 attracted a sold-out crowd that was in stiches all night thanks to hilarious performances by three professional comedians. Helium balloons with prizes inside sold for $10 each, raising an additional $2,000, on top of ticket sales and a live auction. All proceeds will go towards a new facility for ICAN.
