Have you got your raffle tickets yet?

Raffle tickets for Relay for Life prizes are still available for purchase.

Raffle tickets are going fast for both the ice fishing shacks and the homemade quilt, as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

The ice fishing shacks were built by the trades students at the College of the Rockies (COTR), under the guidance of Cory and Joe from the Home Renovation Centre. All supplies were donated by RONA Hardware. The shacks are made with the convenience of easy dismantling and storing, complete with inside tiling for your woodstove to keep you warm while ice fishing.  And also to keep you warm is a 70×80” quilt made in brown, rusts and green flannel.  There are only about 70 of the 200 of these tickets left, so if you want one, you better get one soon.

Tickets are available at The Book Bar, COTR, The Valley Echo, RONA, Home Hardware, Skookum Inn, and the Mountainside Markets in both Radium and Fairmont.  Or watch for our Relay for Life table on the weekends at AG Valley Foods or Sobeys.

Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25.

Draws for both ice fishing shacks and the quilt will be made at the Relay for Life on June 11.
