It was a chilly morning in Invermere, but that didn’t stop hundreds of people from attending the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the Invermere Cenotaph on Sunday, November 11. After local dignitaries, RCMP and service members paraded down 7th St., O Canada was sung and the reverend Laura Hermakin led those in attendance in a prayer. Invermere then joined communities across the country in a moment of silence, before wreaths were laid at the base of the Cenotaph.
