INVERMERE — BC Hydro be making electrical system improvements in Invermere on Thursday, July 28.

To ensure the safety of our work crews, it will be necessary to interrupt electrical service for approximately five hours, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The areas affected are Baltac Rd, Lake Dr., Nappe Rd, and Peddley Rd. Please protect all sensitive equipment.

We recognize the inconvenience this may cause, and will restore service safely and as efficiently as possible.  Shorten restoration time during a power outage by switching lights and electrical equipment off.

Wait one hour after power is restored before switching on multiple appliances to allow the system time to stabilize.
