To the Editor,

A very lengthy, comprehensive and interesting article about the Jumbo Glacier Resort proposal appeared in the Saturday, February 19 edition of the Globe and Mail.

In my opinion the article was well written and well balanced, however the writer gave the impression that this proposal project is all about skiing. Nothing could be further from the truth. Skiing is nothing more than a loss leader.

This project is all about real estate development and is nothing more than a land grab at taxpayers’ expense. The government should listen to the people and reject it.
