The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train made a whistle stop in Radium Hot Springs December 13. Canadian musical acts including Valdy played to an excited crowd, warmed up by the Valley Voices and Edgewater school choirs. The Holiday Train has been touring the country for weeks, raising support for local food banks at each stop. In Radium, the show on rails presented a $1,500 cheque to the Columbia Valley Food Bank (right), and residents brought along plenty of food to donate as well.
