Kootenay Savings employees donated more than $1,400 to the Family Resource Centre on this year’s Credit Union day (October 20). Credit union workers contribute $2 of each pay cheque to a charitable fund, and in return get to wear Care Wear to work every Friday. Once a year they add up all the money, and KS matches the total. The credit union also donated $1,281 to Columbia House.
