The landslide that blasted through Fairmont Hot Springs on Sunday (July 15) took out a two-lane bridge and a footbridge, ruptured a 1,500 litre propane tank and two main water lines, and stranded some 600 people in the resort’s campground while numerous others were evacuated from their homes. Luckily, no injuries were reported.
What's left of the road and bridge that connect the Spruce Grove RV Park & Campground to the rest of Fairmont Hot Springs Resort after a large scale mudslide blasted through the area on Sunday (July 15) afternoon at about 4:30 p.m.
