Radium resident, Travis Kerslake, awarded $1500 scholarship from the University of Alberta, Augustana Campus

Over 340 of 1,000 students have been awarded scholarships and awards for the 2010-2011 academic year from the University of Alberta Augustana Campus, located in Camrose, Alberta.

Receiving one of the awards this year is Travis Kerslake, of Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia. Travis is a first year Bachelor of Arts student who was awarded a total of $1,500 for Academic Excellence and Non-Alberta Residency, funded by an Augustana Faculty Academic Entrance Scholarship and an Augustana Non-Alberta Incentive Entrance Award.

Providing over $580,000 to its students in scholarships and awards, U of A Augustana recognizes excellence in Academics, Fine Arts, Athletics, and Leadership.

Support comes from generous donors, investment earnings on endowments, and from faculty funded awards.
