The Columbia Valley RCMP detachment opens its doors to the public for a day of fun. (May 18 stand-alone)

Children of all ages got to come out and take a look at the RCMP detachment in Invermere.

While some guests got very comfortable in the cells, Amber Jefferson stopped for a photo behind a police name plate.

Police dog Rambo who was surrounded for petting by many of the children on-hand after performing his demonstration.

Lauryn Dirks got to sit in the driver’s seat of a police car.
